Who else has been playing this? I haven't for a while, but my friends and I just brought it back out. Forgot how awesome the songs were for it.
Although, on the downside, I remember why I hate the game at the same time. Has anyone beaten Sanbone Tri on masters play? From what I've heard it's the hardest song in the game. I think I've played it easily over 100 times, and I've come close to beating it once. ONCE! The game's fun, but jeez, I don't think I'll ever get past that stage.

Looks to be adding one new character and two new songs. Can't wait. Might just import it rather than waiting for the American release since the Japanese versions are all in English.

I'll probably check out the PSP version but I still think it would have been a better idea to put that on the DS.

On Hard mode, I think I was stuck on Grigorio. The Final sequence on that is tough.
Favorite song is Resurrection, hands down.

Anyway, I paid $45 for mine, but at some Gamestops around here it's fallen to $36. I would say that it is worth it, but that's biased because I'm a huge fan of the game.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | It's worth it if you love quirky humor and rhythm games. The only thing I could see stopping anyone from picking this up is the difficulty. You'll blow through the first two levels fine and then the swamp (level three) will devour you. It has a steep learning curve but the game is more than worth it if you give it the time.

I forget where, like ign or one of those. But there is a new character battling and two new songs are played for a couple seconds. It actually shows them being played, too, which I assume would mean new songs! So basically, the looks of it from the preview are that it's a port + new character + 2 new songs. Quote: |

You suck! :P I've come close only that once, but thoght there would be a small break and just blanked for a minute. Someday I'll beat it......someday.... Quote: |

It is a little quirky and funny, as Altoid27 said, but it's a really fun game all around. It takes a while to get used to the style of playing, but once you know what your doing the game is super fun. Plus, versus play is really fun as well. My friends and I will sit and play it all night seeing who can last the longest without getting beaten. Eventhough it's $45 for a used one, it's worth it.
And yeah, Gamestop's have been getting a bunch in for some reason. Probably found a bunch somewhere, cause I know my store had 2 at one point. The other store up the road also had 1, where before you could NEVER find the game.

I managed to fluke the Sanbone Trio on masters once, but never did again. I must have a 1-40 record on that stage. I must be masochistic. It's not even my favorite stage. In my mind, Mojo King Bee has the best music, stage, and character.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | The last song is Resurrection, which is also my favorite. Runners-up are Flyin' to Your Heart (the eurobeat/para para one XD) and Legendary Theme, both versions (the song U-1 plays for Kirah and then again at the next to last stage)
Kimcicle: I've heard about it being reprinted, and that it's next-to-impossible to discern a reprint from the original. I've also heard that it was done without permission from Koei, and that several other games that were claimed to be "found in a warehouse somewhere" received the same treatment (aka. Persona 2, which used to be incredibly rare) I know any company actually doing this wouldn't sport a neon sign that says "LOOK AT US WE'RE BOOTLEGGING GAMES!" but have you heard anything else about the circumstances behind the reprint?
Finally, if anyone here has never lost to Grigorio III before (the rock opera stage after Sanbone) do it now. His victory speech is creeeeeeepy.
