Okay, so I've had this idea for a cool new music game, based off of an older "game". What is it?
Polybius: Tempest of Music.
This is a mockup of the control panel. As you can see, it shows two joysticks (!) for each player. Why two? so they can hit simultaneous arrows, of course! :P Yes, it will be UDLR, ala DDR/ITG. Why?
This is the arrow scheme I'm shooting for.
Mothafukkin' TEMPEST STYLE.
-There are also info screens, which show the song name, artist name, song difficulty, level, and BPM (Technology of Furlisa is not 195BPM, by the way.).
-The arrows will be the "enemies", the blast area is the step zone, the counterattacks are mines, unless it's an attack sent by you (Versus Mode only).
-There will be six difficulties.
Quote:
Pop (Beginner)
Boom (Easy)
Crush (Medium)
Blast (Hard)
Annihilate (Expert)
Project (Experimental/Another)

These are the grades. They range from on the dot accurate to complete miss.
The song list is composed predominately of "scary" songs, like Metal, Speedcore, Hardcore and way out there, disturbing stuff.
This game is meant to be insane and scary, and will NOT be meant for the faint of heart. It's supposed to have at least SOME basis in the urban legend of the Polybius game.
