I personally think I am into Club and Electronic music, but I hate Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk. >_>" I like Classic Trance like those really cool ones from Dance 2 Trance. :P
Because I don't like formulaic. It doesn't really matter if the song can be danced to. The music needs to be something new and involving everytime. To prove this, listen to Ken Ishii, Dieselboy or London Elektricity, Makoto, Nu:Tone. They all have their own styles of making music, and that is what music artists need to provide. Instead of just copying a working formula and having your music sound like everyone elses (I personally can't differentiate between any of the punk pop bands out there.) but selling. I'd much rather have an artist that tries to represent themselves in a whole new light. Ken Ishii is immaculate with his sounds, Dieselboy hard and fast, London Elektricity invented Liquid Funk, Makoto has his crazy fades, and Nu:Tone works the vocals good.
Sorry for the crazy ranting for the last few posts, it was because I was kind of angry at how little thought Konami put into PnM14 Fever CS. The sound programming was bad, the engineer must have fallen asleep or something. The licensed songs were bad... except for maybe Chibi Maruko's theme, the new songs were bad, especially the ee' mall songs. The new characters are too lazy, they didn't even give the characters new animations or more than 3 frames of animations. I can't believe they could be this crappy when working with a PnM game, because so far, PnM has been a great series with all the reasons to play them, they just ruined it because they needed to make the deadline for a game a year thing. *sigh* |
