Keyboard Heaven to KBM 3rd Mix

Hi, I found a local Keyboard Heaven (KBM Korean version) for sale for a decent price, but I was wondering, would a KBM 3rd mix be compatible with it? I also heard that the Korean version lacks a link jack for GF/DM, not that it would matter much. Any help would be apprieciated.

you should be fine, I dont see how it would not work seeing as its all the same hardware.

Finding a 3rd mix upgrade kit may be a challenge...

That depends.

Some FireBeat-based games tend to be digitally tied to the hardware (The start-up program executable compares a code with a value somewhere on the PC board), so some upgrades won't work, even if it's legitimate and includes the security key (The K-version of Para Para Dancing to any of the JP versions is a no-go, for example).

Yeah, thats what I'm worried about. I might just pass on this cabinet then. The guy also has a Dance Freaks, which I think would be fine, since that runs on System 573.
