A contest is going on that will place the three winners in Mungyodance 3, so the final songlist will most likely be 264 songs.
To be honest, I think this game does the stepping game quite a bit better than DDR itself.
Some other features that were announced a while ago:
-At least half of the songs will have unique BGAs.
-EXTRA MODE will apply all songs. Yes, you read that right. EVERY SONG EXTRA
-MGD3: Now with .SM and .DWI support!
-3D Arrows!
I'm just hoping the developers fix the fatal problem that makes 128 MB computers cripple to their knees - "memory leaking", which was present in MGD2. To me, if this was based on an SM build.
Anyways, about the memory leak; that was due to the archive sizes in the previous game, actually. This is going to hopefully be remedied a bit, bu the game will be larger than 3GB in size. I am highly recommending at least 512mb of RAM to run this, preferably 1GB. This game utilizes a lot of videos and large graphics, so the more the merrier.
I've been waiting for this ever since it was first announced, Renard and the team have done an insanely good job with MGD1&2 so i can't wait to see how this turns out.
I already think that MGD beats both DDR and ITG in both stepcharts and tracklists, and from what i've seen of 3 so far, it's most likely going to take the lead in presentation as well.
And since it'll have .sm and .dwi support, it'll most likely be replacing ITG2 as my preferred program.
The delay's a bit badly timed for me though, the new release date is the same day i'm moving out, and my new place might not have anywhere to put my pad so i might not get chance to try it on foot for quite a while. X_x
