So this game is pretty good apparently? Isn't it possible to tone the settings down and remove the whole KIA edition? How are the songs btw?

I tried to play the game for the past two days now, and when I click on the game's desktop icon, I get an "Update Checking" message, then this message keeps popping up every split-second to the point I have to click as fast as I can to get rid of it. :/

Downloaded the game a few days ago. I seem to have quite a few Nation Records (Records for songs out of the entire USA). Not trying to brag but hardly any American people play. The game is dominated by Hong Kong, Korean, and European players.

I wish I was lucky as you were to play the game without that glitch I mentioned earlier. What browser did you use to download the game, and how can you fix the error (if you managed to fix it by yourself)?

Hello, I'm a Malaysian and a major Rhythm Action Game fan.

Overall here's my review of the game Krazy Rain:

Graphics: 4.5/5
Totally awesome, basically the game's opening sequence is gonna eat up anyone without a decent graphics card. In-game animation is also VERY diverse and requires decent performance desktop.

Music: 4/5
Atm, the game doesn't really have much variety of musics. Mainly sticking to a few K-pops and the Beethoven Virus which is EPIC!

Gameplay: 5/5
Definitely, this game is right to be deemed the spiritual successor of O2jam. The game utilizes a slitly slanted screen, giving it a major 3D appeal. Points system mainly uses the Beatmania scoring system which disregards the combo=points trend.

One of the major breakthroughs is definitely it's "Krazy Time" system and the combo effects. The Krazy Time is activated using a 30% of your current lifebar and can be chained from X2 till X6 score multipliers. Whenever your combo achieves 50-100-200-300-400 etc, the background will suddenly have animation related to the interface selected!

Overall : 4/5
The game's got a good concept, but it has a lot of expansion on the music lists + avatars. One can only wonder how long will Bemani wait b4 they send their Lawyer Squadron to this company's doorsteps...XD

I just installed this as I had no idea there was an English version until now. The game is VERY pretty and the gameplay was surprisingly smooth. The music was okay, mainly classical remixes at the moment and some Korean pop/rock songs. I'm actually having a pretty hard time learning the game as moving from IIDX to this is really confusing. I keep trying to move my fingers up for the blue notes and I sometimes stretch my left pinky out on the space bar notes. I see huge potential in this game, although there aren't enough quality songs yet (there's about 50 something total, I believe) and not a lot of American players at the moment as previously stated.

The game's in english. Just go get that version.

The only thing I wish is that they had more songs. I haven't played in quite a LOOONG time...we're talking MONTHS, did they add anything new like new songs or backgrounds?

Has anyone had trouble getting the game to work? The first time I installed it, I had no problems, but after installing it a second time recently it won't start at all. Nothing happens when clicking the shortcut.

Edit: Also are there any other games similar to this? I grew tired of games like Stepmania with arrows and I like playing games like o2jam and krazy rain more now.

You can play in solo mode on stepmania, with a noteskin that has circles or bars. That'll give you six keys and an o2jam-like feel.

DJMAX Trilogy is the only other PC game similar to O2Jam and stuff right now that I know of.

Unless you wanna dive into Bemani like IIDX and pop'n or emus like Stepmania solo there's not much else other than that.

Not to mention Trilogy is retail, there's no danger of the servers discontinuing, invalidating all the effort you've put into the game. :V

Just registered on the English page. Had trouble with checking the user ID while using Chrome, worked under Internet Eplorer though.
