Question about Singstar for the PS3!

Hi

Is there a possibility that I can get Japanese Songs in Singstar for example in the Singstore?
Or do I need a japanese Version of the Game then?
I live in Germany and if there is a possibility to download Japanese Songs then I am buying the game for sure. Please tell me. thx

since the game isn't out yet in the US I can't say for sure, but I don't think you would be able to. It's mostly due to licensing fees, but companies generally don't allow downloading across regions.
I would also imagine that the singstore is set by language and IP, so you would have to have at the very least the Japanese software (which I'm not entirely sure will ever be released since the series so far is limited to Europe and the US.)

it is possible to set up psn accounts for different regions, so if you import the game from japan, since there is no region protection on ps3 games.
you would be able to download songs from the japanese singstore.
from what i've heard i've come under the impression that the game has the same songs in every country, you could research it though, if the japanese version of the game has different songs on the disc (30 songs for a 25 gig disk...)
you can be sure it'll have different songs on the japanese singstore.
before you even try, make sure you can buy things off the japanese PS store, as i believe it requires another credit card, a japanese one.

Of course. I have a Japanese, and a European account for the PSN due to downloading demo's and just to have extra accounts for my games I play.
