Rock'n Tread - The Thread (Yea, thats spelled right)

So I just stumbled across these games today. There were 5 made by Jaleco in 1999-2000. It plays kinda like Pop'n Music, but with only 2 buttons. In almost every music game, the notes fall towards a bar at the bottom. However, in this game the notes remain stationary and the bar constantly scrolls from the top to the bottom of the screen. It makes for interesting gameplay since you have to memorize the last of the notes on the bottom, and then quickly look back up at the top of the screen. Simplistic and no where near as deep as other music games, but I was still having fun playing through them.

Well anyway, I was having fun with them. Anyone else ever play them?

All kinds of Japanese music. Has a lot of variety. I don't really pay attention to what it is.

All 5 games are perfectly emulated on later versions of MAME, should anyone want to try them out.
