I went to the SM Mall Of Asia one day (that's in the Philippines, mind you but it's frickin' huge!) when I came accross two music games the were "new" to me.
Here's Toy's March from Konami:

It's a simple music game for kids (since I had to bend my back a little bit) that features a Toy Soldier playing his drums to different music. Songs included where "Robinson", "Cartoon Heroes", "GO!!!", "Sobakasu", a theme song from Gundam SEED and many others but not much.
It's relatively simple for a guy like me to play this but since I wasn't familiar with other songs, it made me look like an idiot. Other than that, it's a pretty cool music game for those new in the music game genre and really great for kids!
And here's Shakatto Tambourine from SEGA:

Plays like Samba de Amigo (six sensors depending the position of the tambourine this time) but using a tamborine. It's either you "slap/clap" the tambourine (there's a yellow button on the tambourine for the "slap/clap" move) or shake the tambourine. There's even a "freestyle" like essence to it because there is a part where you have to position the tambourine from Point A to Point B while shaking it!
I loved this game and it made by hands and arms ache. It also gave me nasty callouses on my hands and fingers as well! I failed one song but I got an appluase! Maybe because when I play this game, I shake my boo-tay along with the beat. One song I can remember there is "GAMBLE RUMBLE" from Initial D.
Well, that's what I can share. Maybe I'll bring a video camera and upload them in youtube... What do you say?
