Default What the F is THIS game?

OK, so I go to this little theme park near me a little while back. It's called DollyWood. (it's Dolly Parton's theme park, if you must know.) Anyways, waaaaay up in Craftsman Valley there's this arcade. It's there for people that don't want to ride the Tennessee Tornado, a roller coaster that is supposedly the only one in the world with three butterfly loops or something. In said arcade there's a game called "Rhythm and Dance". Now, I've known about this for a little while, but the last time I went I got to get some detailed info on it. First of all, it's a Korean 4-panel dance game. Yeah.

-4 Dancers
-Alot of Covers
-DDR 3rd-style interface
-CLON

First of all, let's talk about the dancers. There are four dancers on RaD, and, well, they're ok. I don't know anything about them, so anything about the dancers from here on in will be pure speculation.

Dance Team 1:

-
Name: Celina
Sex: Female
Age: 20
Looks like: A Korean-anime-style version of Serena/Usagi from Sailor Moon.
-

-
Name: Rave
Sex: Male
Age: 22
Looks like: Red eyes, Purple spiky hair, wears baggy pants and a red and yellow striped shirt. You decide on who he looks like.
-

Dance Team 2:

-
Name: Lacy
Sex: Female
Age: 29
Looks like: A cross between Lady and Tracy of DDR Fame.
-

-
Name: Larry
Sex: Male
Age: 37
Looks like: A slightly overweight dude in a suit that appears to be a cross between a bear and a cockroach.
-

Now for the song list. The song list was kinda strange to me. There was an abnormal number of 2 Unlimited covers, like Twilight Zone, Get Ready For This, Maximum Overdrive and No Limit. There was also a cover of The Weather Girls' It's Raining Men on there. What surprised me was that there were also a few songs from Pump It Up on there. Come To Me by CLON, anyone?

About the interface, it was kinda like DDR 3rd's interface, except the CDs went up and down like DDR MAXTREME's interfaces.

And again, CLON.

I took pictures of it, but I'll have to wait for them to be taken to get developed. :p Should have them up somewhat soon. This is all the info that I could find in 10 minutes though, I don't know if there was a company name on it. It sure as heck wasn't Andamiro or F2 Systems, that's for sure.

Any way you can report a full song list?

Song list: I don't have a full one yet...Sorry... The next time I go there I'll bring a notepad or something and get the whole list.

The cab and pads... looked kinda like a cross between the DDR cab and PIU cab. I can remember Blue, Pink and some Yellow on it. The pads looked okay. more info later

I'd have to question if the machine is legit at all since it is Korean and all.

Sorry for the major bump, but...

I have a picture of Rhythm & Dance.

Look, I know it isn't much, and this isn't exactly the 4 or 5 pictures I took of it...I'm Sorry. This picture I took during the Christmas celebration that was going on...in December. The camera that this picture was taken with was kinda bad, and every picture turned out like this. I know which camera to get developed now though.

Anyhoo, this is Rhythm & Dance. The pic has been modified somewhat, cause in the original you could see SQUAT. XD You can clearly see the speakers, the side, the screen and part of the bar. Now that I know what camera to get developed, I know I should have the better pics up soon. ^_^

Actually, from that picture it looks like you were just too far away for the flash to have any effect (must be a small disposable from what you've said so far.) Just get closer next time and take a series of close up pics, the flash should be able to illuminate it fine then. Hopefully the next batch come out better because now you have my very interested in this game.

No, you just see the blue circular bass lights that resemble a DDR machine among the darkness of black surrounding it.

Yes, developed. You see, we didn't have a digital camera at the time, so we just brought the disposable camera with the least amount of pictures taken. I thought I had the flash on, but apparently I thought wrong, and well, this picture was the last, so I couldn't take another one. XP

Also, I KNOW that we're going out tommorrow, so I'll take the camera to Wal-Mart and get the good pictures developed.

Damn, you need to look behind it and try to find a company or something. I can't find a single mention of that game anywhere...
