Member profile lookup

Is the member profile lookup in the forums a one-time deal, or does it last forever? Because I really don;t want to buy it, and end up only being able to use it once, because I have 20 things better to do with those 75 tokens. Also, when I purchase things, I see a "Tax percentage" or similar thing, what is this, and is there ever a tax to purchasing items? Because it was always at zero for me.

I think that's an option with vbplaza, and I don't think there is tax set on anything.
