Good God, I fucked up big time.

I'm not sure if you guys were aware of ths, but everytime you view someones profile (DON'T DO IT HERE PLEASE), they get a token. It can be easily abused. I don't mean "click, and page load, chicl, and page load", I mean "MACHINE GUN REFRESHING!!!!!!". It kind of caused the server to be too busy after a while.

I should've known to keep my mouth shut about it, then I did the next stupid thing: post about it in Forum Boredom. I got a little out of hand like a child with a new toy, but it so just hapens that toy is a flamethrower: It seemed like a neat and fun idea at the time, but in the end, you call yourself an idiot for thinking of such a thing.

In short: Limit it to one token a page view a day for each different person, or just generally turn it off. Let us post fair and square and rely on interest for our tokens. The only things you don't get tokens are for posting in the hunor forums, Pming, recieving rep, and browsing the forum in general. Posting in non-humor areas, having your profile viewed, giving rep, voting in polls, and interest are the five things that give you tokens, and maybe it should be cut down to four. I'm sorry if there was any inconvience from all of this.

Yeah "machinegun refreshing" is definitely a good way to start crashing a server. I noticed that it gave you a token when someone viewed your profile, but I didn't know that refreshing the page would do it again. It was definitely abused.

Setting it so that a person could only give someone a token by visiting their profile one time a day or something might've been a good moderation idea, so this wouldn't happen.

So, it seems okay Razer_2mb, since it doesn't give tokens anymore.
