Default Hey all, we could use some help. [SERIOUS THREAD]

Hey all, hate to do this, but as happens once in a great while, I've got to be serious. So far Bowl-manifest has been a frigging blast, but apparently some assholes decided to be, for lack of a better word, assholes. Taking advantage of the big crowd and the trusting atmosphere, some stuff got stolen, and now we need as much help as we can in replacing it or finding out who took it (if that's even possible at this point).

Ruri had her Sony Handicam stolen, and Ichigomew had her DS Lite stolen. This really sucks, and it's kind of soured the experience. We're doing what we can over here to find out what the heck happened, but between those being stolen and a windshield being smashed in the lot, it's not looking very good.

Any help of any kind would be appreciated, and I or someone else here will keep you updated if we learn anything new or anything comes up.

So if you have a little cash that you squirreled away to go to Bemanifest and haven't spent it all since you decided you weren't going, if you maybe have one of these sitting around you don't need any more, or even if you've heard some "wild" story about how someone got drunk and thought it would be hilarious to steal a few things sitting around at TGA, please let us know.

As an aside, if anyone hears or knows anything about the Handicam, ruri is very adamant that the most important part of it is the memory stick with all of our pictures on it. So if someone decides that a new camera is so important to them, and you know somehow, at the very least work to get that memory stick back.

Thanks very much, sorry to be a downer, and we'll do our best to have an awesome weekend despite all this.

Thanks again,

Dewgy

HEY ASSHOLES. GIVE THIS SHIT BACK.

If you were at Bemanifest and know anyone who has recently come into possession of either a DS Lite or a Handicam, GET ON THEIR SHIT IMMEDIATELY AND ASK THEM ABOUT IT. Thievery in the Bemani community is an absolute stab in the back, and I cannot believe that someone even vaguely related to the community would stoop as low as to steal a girl's $800 video camera from a trusted establishment.

You guys are the only way that anything will be done about it. We all generally know each other in this community - how about we use our tenacity for something good now? It'd really help. ^_^

Ouch. Total sympathies to both of you, ruri especially. It sucks to hear that people insist on sucking so much during events like this.

Best of luck resolving this guys. :/

That really sucks. It makes me sad that people can do this at an event where the community is getting together. =/

I seriously hope that it doesn't turn out to be anyone from this community, and maybe some outside asshole. If it's someone here, I hope you never fucking come back again. How classless.

The windshield thing sounds like it'd be more likely to be some random jerk, but the stuff being stolen is not cool at all.

Hey Dewgy, I asked all around but nobody knows anything or saw anything. I'll keep asking around, I feel terrible about what happened to Lizz and Becky
