Those of you who went to Transformers saw this crazy trailer with no title, just a release date of 1-18-08. YouTube - ~
It is currently only known as " The Cloverfield Project", and Paramount is denying the existance of the movie entirely.
But apparently, they are seriously "viral marketing" the movie via an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) located at three different websites: Ethan Haas Was Right - Look to the stars for help The truth of Ethan Haas 1-18-08
I admit, they had me curious as to what it's about.
However - I do know that it is NOT the live-action Voltron movie like people are speculating. That's being done by Universal and probably won't see theaters until 2009.

All the rumors about godzilla got me thinking,
with the way the burst of flames is rising from the ground
the loud roaring sound
person in the trailer yells "IT'S ALIVE IT'S HUGE!" or whatever
and the focus on fire as a destructive force
maybe it's a new Gamera movie

I forget where I found it at, but I read that it was a giant monster destroys the city Godzilla type movie, but the entire thing is shot from handheld cameras the actors carry, giving it a real gritty point of view type thing. Which I have to admit sounds cool as hell, and the trailer had me extremely intrigued. I think one of the writers/producers/something from Lost has a hand in it too.

Just hopefully they won't make the entire movie a clusterfuck of random information that ties in at the VERY LAST SECOND and the ending is nothing but a cliffhanger that makes no sense (thank you LOST).
