I can possibly recommend such movies as "Oldboy", "Casshern", "Train Man", "Battle Royale I-II", "Suicide Club", anything by Stephen Chow, and anything with Jet Li (like "Huo Yuan Jia" and "Ying xiong") and Jackie Chan (like "San ging chaat goo si" or some of his old stuff, none of his american titles) in it.

I'm only good for this kind of stuff in the horror department. That being said, pick up a copy of "A Tale of Two Sisters." It still stands as the scariest movie I have ever seen (though that director's next film, "Cello", was sort of freaky).
Oh, "2046" totally escaped my mind. Pick that one up, as well. Very underrated, in my opinion.

Tale of Two Sisters felt like a M. Night Shyamalan movie which I liked alot. 2046 didn't really peak my interests very much. If it was a story about the book that he wrote, I would've enjoyed it more.

I also recommend any of Akira Kurosawa's films, they're Japanese classics and they're beautifully done. I recommend Rashomon in particular, since that's my favourite.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | ^Oh man, if we're going to talk classics like those, then yes, "Rashomon" is good stuff. Also have to give a shout-out to Ozu's work, particularly "Tokyo Story" (which still remains one of the most depressing movies I have ever seen).

Oh, I also saw Ringu Zero (lol Ringu). Is it good, or I should save the money for something else? Consider that I liked the original Ringu movie ^^

And about Ringu Zero... I haven't watched it yet, so I can't say anything on it. I'm not really one for horror films. But my friend really likes it since it fleshes out Sadako and he said that Ringu Zero adds depth to her character.
