It was a pretty decent movie, I did like it better than The Incredibles and Finding nemo (I fucking hated Finding Nemo), I saw this yesterday for father's day (my dad wanted to see this badly) and it was worth it.

I felt kind of tired throughout parts of the movie. It seems like it's a bit too long in some parts.

Despite this, I still felt that it was a great movie, with an interesting concept (a world with only talking cars that act like the people who would drive them). Pixar has still not let me down, unlike other 3D animation studios.

My grandfather would have loved it, mostly because he likes NASCAR and just cars in general.

Let's not mention that movie or any other Jack Black comedy for that matter. Ever.

Cars was simply another Pixar movie, which is what I didn't like about it. Other than that it was very impressive graphics-wise, and the characters were well-developed.

Personally, I prefer Dreamworks' CGI films and animation styles. I never saw Shark Tale and heard it was shit, anyway, so I'll say I like most of their CGI films.

I saw it on Father's day with my dad. I did not stay through the credits. What did I miss?

I saw the movie, it was pretty good. However the 2 Larry the Cable Guy lines ("I don't care who you are, thats funny", and "Git'er done") killed the movie, in a bad way. Else, it was good.

Well, so far I've seen the movie: 6 times.

As for the credits.

Tim Allen and Tom Hanks and John Ratzenberger do 'Toy Car Story'
John Goodman and Billy Crystal do 'Monster Cars'
and Dave Foley does A Bug's Life, where the bugs...are cars.

Pretty neat stuff.

I love CARS.
Not as much as Incredibles, but I loved it none the less.

I hate larry the cable guy, and i thought that he was actually pretty funny. IMO he should dump the blue collar shit and stick with voice acting. it worked for Nicole Sullivan(Kim possible, Incredibles, ect...)

Nicole Sullivan wasn't in Incredbiles...
I prefered her on MadTV.

Anyways, I agree with Larry the Cable Guy. I normally can't stand him, but he did a fine job in Cars.

Agreed. I didn't even mind his two signature lines in the movie - they actually came at appropriate times.

"That's funny - I don't care who you are, that's funny right there."
When they were tipping the tractors.

Yeah, and he's pretty damn good.
He does something else to his voice, but I can't tell what.

It's really not as bad as you're imagining it to be. He works really well as a voice actor.
