Just got back; mixed feelings. I felt the movie was good only because of the funny stuff. The action-y stuff wasn't that amazing, but it was good. Plus Daniel Craig looks nothing like the other Bonds (BLONDE, JAMES BLONDE).

The ballsack torture scene was hilarious.

3/5

Yea the opening animations of the cards was as close to an acid trip as you can get! Way trippy, but i miss naked lady shilhouettes.

That chase scene in the opening was the best, i so wish they used it for a shoe adverb.

Yeah that opening animation was awesome as shit. That free-running chase scene was nice, too. :b

Another funny moment: after Bond comes back from being poisoned, "that last hand nearly killed me".

James Bond lost to some animated penguins this weekend. Connery and Pierce must be laughing their tuxedo-fitted asses off...

maybe they were trying to give the Bond persona more of a 'bad boy' image, rather than stick to the 'pretty boy' that we love so much. either way it wasnt half bad.

HM... I must really check this film when it arrives here.

Dunno... maybe I've got used to see Pierce Brosnan a lot as the 007 Agent, but this new actor didn't convince me when I saw him for the first time on the news.

Aw, well. Watch first, judge later, I guess :0

It's about time the movies changed direction. I was so sick of seeing these mindless action movies with plots so retarded I nearly left the theater? DNA swaping Korean terrorists? What the fuck? Use big name actors for the "Bond Girl" to help sell the movies?

The movie takes a more mature and serious approach to the way Ian Fleming originally created Bond. This is one of the closest adaptations to one of his books, and anyone who says otherwise obviously doesn't know what they are talking about. The torture scene was taken directly out of his book, for instance. This was the way he actually portrayed Bond.

My vote's still on Pierce Brosnan or Sean Connery as the best Bonds ever.

yesterday i read some article about this "new" james bond
and it's said that the real james bond base on ian fleming novel
is a man with more brutal character compared with brosnan "bond"
character i think craig is more like ian's bond...
i still like this new bond...he's cool
