Now, I'm generally the last person in the world to defend the evil corporation that is The Mouse, but between all the Miyazaki movies they (beautifully) dubbed and bringing THESE out, they are forever redeemed in my eyes.
I must have them both.
I grew up on these shows, and they're both amazing.
I love Disney. Well, mostly the older incarnation, but they're just as awesome now for doing this.

I saw DARKWING FUCKING DUCK!
And that gave Disney ten coolness points. Tomorrow, these DVDs shall be mine.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Oh hell yes. Darkwing Duck was very good times and Tailspin had quite possibly the most infectious theme song in history. I see I now have to schedule a trip to Best Buy in at some point in the week.
And yeah, the Darkwing Duck game ruled. 2D platforming goodness with ducks is almost impossible to screw up (Ducktales 1 and 2, Quackshot, etc. were all incredible). Can't say the same for the Tailspin game. I remember it being really frustrating but I honestly do not remember why.

Disney owns the publishing rights to Muppet Babies, I hope they release that on DVD too.

back in first seaon it was crazy violent. like bad guys would DIE and darkwing really fought hardcore. later on though it dimmed down so he threw crates n shit at them and they would just get away or get knocked out locked up whatever. C'mon disney! lets see some mother fuckin VIOLENCE

Marketplace Rating: 1 | There's two Gargoyles box sets already, Season 1 and 'Season 2 part 1'. I need to get those eventually.
They also already did Ducktales and Chip And Dale's Rescue Rangers, which are already getting tough to find(I already got C&D, not sure if I want Ducktales yet).

*as for last poster, I think I still have a few Ducktales VHS tapes sitting around deep in the depths of my "In Case Y2K Owns Our Asses" storage.

Darkwing Duck was one of the best TV shows Disney ever did, animated or otherwise, and I'm glad to see it on DVD.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Tailspin had to be the most addictive show I've seen in my afternoon cartoon shows. I would always arrive home too late to watch Gummi Bears, so Tail Spin was my show. I don't remember Darkwing Duck very much, or even the video game. (I'd go into how much I absolutely adored "Donald Duck's Quackshot" but that would be going off-topic...)
Either way, the tailspin DVD will be mine! First Ducktales, now this...
