So I just saw Doubt yesterday and it absolutely blew me away. The final few scene's are some of the most moving scenes I've ever seen. This movie successfully depicts so much of religion. It's not on a crusade against it, it's not trying to hold it on a pedestal, it's just stark, honest, and real. The acting in this movie is so far beyond what I've expected acting to be lately and the imagery the movie provides is still in my mind.
I just saw this movie because of how you described it. It blew me away too. Meryl Streep is such a fantastic actress, but everyone's emotions felt so real. Very sad movie
Hmm...I guess I should watch this then (as the last time I saw Meryll Streep was in Manchurian Candidate). It's definitely something that I must look out for.
