This is really the only part that bugs me.

I mean, come on. A live-action DBZ movie was BOUND to suck. I was thoroughly expecting that. I will watch it and I will laugh at how badly it ends up executed.

I honestly think there is potential to be made in that, but it has to be executed correctly. There is enough meat in the original anime and manga to make it good

As for the trailer. I couldn't keep a straight face.

Oh what the fuck. They don't even have the decency to put Trunks in it. To me it looks like Fast & Furious with balls. They could have at least made it an all Chinese/Japanese cast, that didn't feature riced out Chargers.

I'm more interested in seeing how the live-action Cowboy Bebop movie is going to turn out.

It also makes no sense as to why they'd change something that's so simple to keep it as it is (there's no reason why Piccolo had to be a different color...). The Super Mario Bros. movie is a good example. That had so many stupid changes in it. & almost nothing was releated to the game. I can't help to feel that this is how Dragonball (& sadly, perhaps Cowboy Bebop) is going to be like...nothing like the original franchise/series.

I love how utterly serious people are taking this movie.

Dragonball, as a series, has been legally dead for like five years. There was no way this movie was ever going to be good, and if you didn't know that, then you have been deluded, or possibly insane.
