Question Eurobeat/ParaPara...Gotta Have Em All ?!?

Humm...im starting to think that im becoming a little...just a little obsessed with Euroebeat Cds and ParaPara Cds And Dvds...

-I have almost All Super Eurobeat Cds out there...from 1 to 180
-all PPP cds (only one dvd and its the 2nd) and
-We *Love* TechPara I II And III.
-also Gazen ParaPara D-1 Matsuri Cd and Dvd.
-And my new favorite...Super Eurobeat SEF Gold Vinyl !
**I just ordered two dvds+cds of Gazen ParaPara and the Best of We *love* TechPara when i realized ^^**

Am i normal to want all of these ??? All the people around me **except a couple of freinds** think that im crazy. And also i am not asian...so for a Canadian its kinda strange to love this stuff (Whatever )

What do you think ??? Are there some ppl on the forum who just cant resist a half price Eurobeat cd on play-asia.com ???

PS: Soundtrack - Super Eurobeat Presents Super GT 2007 - Second Round - Order Now! Woot ! i want this ! :P

And feel free to move if its in a wrong section**

It's not exactly normal lol but you aren't alone. I buy the SEB that comes out each month, the Gazen CDs oh and I buy every single 12" vinyl Avex releases. (My poor poor wallet). There are more of us like that at The NEW ParaParaStage

Eurobeat is grand to listen to in the early morning commute (as in, 6:30 when no one else is on the road and you can fly). Hell, it's grand to listen to in general. Unfortunately, I have too many other tastes to really devote my wallet solely to Eurobeat so I stick to the SEB line. It used to be really bad when Dancemania was more productive. Wrestling between SEB, Dancemania CDs, and Criterion Collection DVDs each month was insane.

If you stop by Shinjuku, head over to Beat Collector's they have a ton of Eurobeat 12"s. The 12"s for SEB Volumes don't really sell out to fast so they should be okay to find but the 12"s for stuff like Gazen ParaPara!! and We Love TechPara sell out on like the first day so they might be harder to find.

Now, I'm going to refrain from commenting about the quality of the music involved, but...

You people are paying $30 for an imported CD? And that's a GOOD price? I don't know whether to admire your dedication or chastise your consumer idiocy.

Granted, Metal =/= Eurobeat, but I've still gotten imported albums from Japan for under $20. I realize that there aren't many ways to get Eurobeat CDs in the US, but seriously, at those prices, someone's making a ridiculous profit and laughing their asses off.

of course were are paying lot lets say play-asia if we order cds from them. They put prices about 10$ more than buying them in japan.

so yeah...but its the only way from getting them...unless maybe HMV could have them...maybe they could bring stuff from japan ?

Exactly the SEB nowadays cost 3000yen (tax included) so yeah they are about $30 each but they also two discs set so they are more like $15 per disc. HMV is better since they remove the tax from each CD for international orders and has more reasonable shipping prices. Also Super GT 2007 2nd Round is not really worth, DJ Boss did mediocre mixing at best and it's all tracks from the 170s really (alot of which was crap seriously Dave Rodgers needs to retire) so I wouldn't recommend buying at all especially at $30.

HMV.co.jp will ship to the U.S. and Canada (though I do believe the canadian import laws tend to keep them at customs a bit longer)

Yeah the vinyl shops in Japan do NOT sell to overseas so unless you know some in Japan to buy for you or if you use a 3rd party service (which will charge you an arm, a leg and your first born) then you probably won't get any.
