Edit: Got back from the movie. One of those "for the fans" movies (some parts might not make sense to the people who haven't seen the series), but still was good. It was GREAT to see an uneditted version (done by the awesome Funimation) of One Piece (even the names (i.e Zoro) were left untouched!) w/ all the blood, swearing, & sexual innuendo (Mr. 2: "Plus, I can imitate their bodies! *undresses while being Nami; guys are amazed at talent & Nami's awesome body*. I can't wait till Funimation releases the uneditted DVDs.

Were there finally black people or did they white them out again. Because having black people shure be racist

That's a shame. If you think Spirited Away is good, you owe it to yourself to at least give The Cat Returns a look. I don't care how you do it, just do it.

Although Cat Returns is pretty good, I personally love Porco Rosso. 8D

Not that, just why revive it after how many years is all. I happen to like the dry humor and most anime produced before 1998.

Season 3 was aired in '97. That's over 10 years. It'll be interesting to see how clean the animation will look.

How IS the series? It looks alright, plus there isn't tons of episodes in a season.

Ya know what anime I miss? BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo. That had to be one of my fav. animes along w/ Azumanga Daioh, FLCL, & Welcome To The NHK. Yes, it made no sense what so ever, but that's why I loved it. You never knew what was going to happen.

I've only seen a good portion (but not all of) the first two seasons courtesy of the Funimation Channel. I have a copy of one of the movies but I never watched it. I would say it's hit-and-miss like most of the classics. You will either like it or hate me for recommending it, but all I know for sure is that Amelia is the man. You'll see what I mean if you decide to give any of the series a chance.

I miss Bo-bo-bo too. That show is randomness and nonstop nonsequiturs done right, with a decent, likable dub to boot.

It was no Excel Saga, but it certainly had it's moments. A shame that, knowing CN, it will never get rerun AND the DVD production was abruptly halted.

Speaking of Excel Saga, I need to watch the rest of that. I seem to remember the last episode I watched was when those 3 guys & that one girl when training for something....I think, somewhere around there.

BTW, Stage6, where I got my dubbed episodes of Beck (watched up to ep. 12) & Re: Cutey Honey (need to watch original series) is closing down...

That's like the 6th episode...and I personally thought the 2nd DVD was the weakest of the bunch. Though if you ask any online anime review website, they'll tell you the low points of the series were the Shiouji heavy episodes, because he's the funniest character in the series, and being funny is bad somehow.
