(I've been reading the Korean scanlations, which for some reason is ahead of the US scanlations).

All of you. Go watch or read Monster. You will thank me for it. It doesn't matter what you like. Just do it.

Is the Beck anime out here? I had some concerns when I heard it was picked up. There are a lot of cultural jokes, particularly plays off of the way Japanese people speak English, and it seemed to me that it would be hard to translate those kinds of things. (For example, the first episode, when the Japanese girl says in broken English "Who the f* are you?" Terrific line in the original because of the way it was delivered.) If the anime is out and anyone has it...did they do a good job dubbing?

アニメ化決定!
According to my info, the production team for GA2 is Satelight, I think they're the one who made Macross Zero. Quote: |

PPD is a great show that had a rocky beginning, and I wouldn't be very surprised if the new Negima series did as well. Either way, I'm watching at least one episode.

The Place Promised In Our Early Days
KNM: Powerful. Can't wait for the finale(#3).
Xenosaga: A lot better than I expected, very faithful to the game(Episode I fortunately).
The Place... : TBA, but I have high expectations from what I've heard.

The only animes I'm watching right now are Ergo Proxy and Higurashi. Atm, there isn'ta good selction of serious stuff to chosse from other then those too. I hope the fall is better.

-Suzumiya Haruhi: I don't need to add more comments, everyone here already knows how amazing this animation is. And I totally HATE Haruhi
-Utawarerumono: Never played the original PC game. I love the storyline and the characters, though some of them seem to be ripoffs of SNK characters with fluffly ears (Eruru = Nakoruru, Benawi = Ukyo, etc.). Chapter 11 was released some days ago, and it made me cry deeply ;(
-Deus Machina Demonbane: Not the biggest thing ever done, but I liked it. I became interested in the Demonbane concept when I downloaded some CG pictures of the original H game. Kurow + Alu combo is hilarious sometimes.
-Fate/Stay Night: Just finished watching it. It was love at first sight (I like anything that comes from Typemoon), the battles were all amazing (we'll never forget you, Archer and Lancer ;____; ), the music and the plot were superb, too... and yes, Sakura chan :3

They will do an anime version, other than that, no info is confirmed or released yet, but Drama was aired on June 17, and there is a novel coming at August, and a game at December.
The official manga site almost never update at all so I can only retrive news from Internet. That was hard to find. Quote: |

Well, I guess I'm done all of the non-cashcow parts of the series. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. A very enjoyable series that shows an irony of a show that is on the Japanese equivalent of PBS has more plot, depth, and character development than other shows that are aimed for an older audience like Pokémon and Naruto.
