I saw the series & want to see it again in Dub. I love the part where they 1st try to make an erotic game & he goes all lolicon & gets 20GB of lolicon in 1 week, then says "OK, I want you to take pictures of me taking pictures of these little girls coming out of school!"

Solty Rei was okay. Not something brilliant but surely kills some time, and fact that Gonzo wasn't fully involved with it (same thing with Full Metal Panic) helped a lot. Quote: |

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Yeah, really. If you're going to "marry" a 2-D character, you may as well just choose someone who's actually cute and interesting, which automatically disqualifies characters from crap like Lucky Star and other overrated Kyoto Animation works.
I wonder how fast the Sailor Moon cast would get chosen?

Marketplace Rating: 0 | -Nice animation.
-Nice music.
-They do OVA-quality animation with standard money for average TV shows.
-Can redeem stuff like Kanon.
-They actually know how to make animations with good pace and decent development.
People just goes all "LOL OVERRATED" because of Haruhi.

OK, let's say that I agree with the "lol Haruhi overrated 555" statement. But then, what about their other productions? Kanon 2006 totally destroyed the old animation in every way, Lucky Star was a bizarre yet good slice-of-life show and Clannad is probably like their best work, animation-wise, so far.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | I haven't seen Lucky Star or Kanon (well I'm getting to Kanon...), but Haruhi was a 9 at best that everyone says is a 10, and Clannad was an 8 at best that a lot of people say is a 10. They're both good, but really overrated.
AIR had an equally fanatic fanbase at one point, I think. They just weren't quite as loud. They've since moved on from Misuzu to the next, inferior tragic heroine.

With the exception of Keroro Gunsou, every Sunrise show I've seen failed to capture my attention for more than five episodes. Quote:

All I can say to this is that Lucky Star was good, and I can forgive the excessive Haruhi references, what with it being the most popular show at the time of production, but in the end my bias against it almost ruined it for me.
