Oh, & Best Buy is still going to carry anime, just the "popular" titles.

BTW, Scream Squat, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A (box set) was released on the 13th for $30 (ep. 1-13).

I was asking about the original series but $30 for 13 episodes? Really?

The original was released in Nov. & it's the complete season. Runs from around $55, but you can find it cheaper. Buy.com has it for $35.

I've always been amazed at how expensive some animes can be, especially complete seasons or series that are only about 10-ish to 20-ish episodes long. Each 1/2 of the Welcome To The NHK series is $60 (MSRP, get 12 episodes each), but online, it's around $40 if ya look hard enough, but that's still $80-$120 for the complete series. WTF?

that is one of the reasons i don't buy anime too often, i mean if it was $30 for 12 (or 13, depending if it is 24 or 26 episode series) I'd consider it, but not 30 for 4 episodes. Or worse 25 for 2 episodes like the Jojo dvds D:

also I seen boxsets got for like 30-50 dollars of series which I spent upwards to 100+ for buying individual dvds, but on the other hand it doesnt come with the dvd cover artwork, if that is worth anyone lol.

back to watching more burst angel

And I thought I was greedy for paying 25 for each Lucky Star DVD.

Anime is expensive. I do really hope you weren't expecting to pay like 20USD for an entire series or something.
