TMO Suzumiya Haruhi is kinda like FLCL where everything is so damn random that it's incredibly entertaining. THe music is off the charts and the animation quality is unbelievably awesome. I REALLY love TMOSH because its just so different and unorthodox that it really feels like a breath of fresh air.

Midori no Hibi is also a great series. The anime by itself was great but if you delved into the manga version, anyone would quickly realize that the anime is no where near as great as the manga. The manga had all of these extra characters and more Ayase x Seiji moments that the anime had to cut to fit the short 12 episode limit.

Yeah.

Too bad the anime ended half way through the manga though.
But who knows, they may continue it if all the voice actors are up to it.
And if they're voice hasn't changed a whole lot either.

Because the ending of Furuba's anime was good, yet unsatisfying.
Kureno was a no-show even. WTF?

But, my favorite anime, i'd have to say "Natsuiro no Sunadokei."

For obvious reasons.

So that means if I were to ever watch it I will tell others that they are fooled by the music that masked the true nature of the show for what it is: A pile of steaming shit. The only good thing about FLCL was the music which wasn't even made for the show. I'm sorry, but if I want to stragnle over half the cast, odds are I will not like the series, and that's what happened with me and FLCL.

I had been avoiding this thread, but for some reason I clicked on it just now, and the first thing I see is FLCL bashing. I think I'll continue avoiding this thread.

I only watched FLCL once, and I found it to be confusingly funny.
I don't know why it was funny, but it just...was.

Nah, it was perfect as is.

Now talk about something else. I can't continue to ignore this topic while you're still on the subject of FLCL...

Anybody ever watched Full Metal Panic Fumoffu?

Almost as weirdly funny as FLCL (sorry) but with a story that makes a little sense.

If NE1 has seen it, how'd ya like it?

I like it a lot. I don't care for any other animated incarnation of FMP!, but Fumoffu! was everything I loved about the first couples of episode of season one and made even better.

if somebody wants to watch an action anime i would suggest the japanese version of Naruto, in my opinion the English version sucks...also if anybody wants to watch something stupidly funny go for excel saga, the first episode has to be restarted several times, and the main character dies like 3 times

I'm pretty sure everybody that posted in this thread has seen this show at least once. And I do mean the Japanese version.
