In other words, THEY'RE SHUTTING DOWN. Damn, this sucks....Hope the animes/mangas that they had will get picked up by other companies.
Most likely, it would be Funimation that would pick their titles up.

Though in fairness, SEED was quite good whilst SEED Destiny went downhill (though thankfully the mecha are way better than those of SEED plus the Minerva warship is awesome). Thankfully though, Gundam 00 seems to step it up this time around

That's just what I think

P.S.
Anyways, I just saw Baccano on TV here. It looked quite interesting (with Pulp Fiction style it employs). Anyways, it's only the first episode (with the the next one to come tomorrow). Either way, it looks quite cool

Is Tears To Tiara finished? That's what I get for relying too much on fansubs wherein Animax airs them faster.

I just saw episode 23 yesterday. With that said, Animax mentioned that the finale is this month (which most likely ends in 26 episodes). So yeah, three more episodes to go.........

It was indeed fun all through those many weeks whilst being impatient for such a long season to finish (since it took more than four months at one episode per week). Nevertheless, it was really interesting and indeed something (and even a win for Animax Asia).

That's all I can say for now

P.S.
Negima!? (season 2) is ending its run on local TV by Wednesday. After that, it's a re-run of Angelic Layer (which IMHO has the BEST Tagalog dub ever). I can't miss it out.

Naruto Shippuden coming to Disney's XD channel

HUH?! Wouldn't it make sense to put this on Cartoon Network considering they're airing the series??

Well, this is a weird promo.....It seems until September 17th, you can download the 1st episode of the 2nd season of Gunslinger Girl for FREE on PlayStation Network (either PS3 or PSP).

......Yay????

I've been meaning to watch that for years. I still have no clue what it's about.

It's about an Italian agency that is masked as a charity organization for disabled people but in reality, it's really an agency that deals with counter-terrorism and security. Inside that agency, there is a section that trains girls with cybernetic body parts to be highly-skilled assassins.

My favorite character there is Triella who is mostly fond of H&K weaponry (like the MP5 and MP7 sub machine guns).

Nevertheless, if you're a fan of action with a touch of drama, then this show should be to your liking .

P.S.
Granted though, I haven't pursued the sequel yet (Gunslinger Girl ~Il Teatrino~) but I heard that it's better than the first. Anyways, we'll just have to see about that

Eh, I only watched the first season. It was okay, oddly enough I recall there being a strange scene with a girl masturbating with her rifle, if not then hahhahahhhaha

I read the 1st 3 or 4 volumes of the manga & I wasn't all that interested. It wasn't bad, but it was just......boring.

But hey, free's free. Plus I might find the anime better. I'll download it later today. & that scene that Loveless described sounds interesting (though I'll have to see if it's true & find out which episode).

Funimation reps are douchebags. I was at a con, and they had a booth set up and were selling some of their latest products at a marked up price above MSRP. Example: They were selling Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid for $100 on Blu-Ray.

I scoffed at the guy, and told him that we sold it for $80 at Best Buy and that I got it even cheaper than that with my employee discount (around $60), and he basically called me a liar. He said "no one gets a discount on our products, not even us, so you don't either."

Guy was just doing his job. Why did you have to bring that up anyway? It's common knowledge that everything is marked up at conventions.

Hehe quite true (but I guess not much can be done about it.....or can it?)

Anyways:
I'm currently enjoying Angelic Layer which has the "BEST" Tagalog dub I've heard in the history of anime (hence why I'm hoping the local channel that airs will continue to air/show it forever ).

That and I'm now tempted to buy the complete DVD collection of it (which has Japanese and English audio tracks). It says 50 American dollars (before international shipping) on Amazon.com which is not too bad.
Amazon.com: Angelic Layer - The Complete Collection: Kotono Mitsuishi, Yuri Shiratori, Jun Fukuyama, Ayako Kawasumi, A. Jacob Gragard, Lauren Goodnight, Jay Hickman, Hilary Haag, Chris Patton, Houko Kuwashima, Kana Ueda, Vic Mignogna, Charvie Abelete

Now I wanna get it
