warning:billboards are springing up around town, and you know how Marvel loves to blitz us with movie ads a month before it opens (X3 was unbearable...)

do you even care? i was excited at first with the teaser trailers but the latest ones are getting ragged on for being cheesy and the hype behind this movie seems to be losing steam. plus the whole Deal with the Devil thing has been done to death in movies...

still, a guy with a skull on fire for a head and demonic bike from Hell should still be an interesting thing to see, no?

I'm only gonna see it because it was filmed here (Melbourne, Australia). Was fun having a lot of areas closed off -- and lotsa people just hanging out, seeing what will go on in the movie.

Watched this movie. Quite nice indeed.

Of course it won't please everybody but at least it was as good as Xmen 3.

Same here in NYC with Spiderman3.Wait............i remembered people complaining that Sony's PS3 uses the spiderman3 font,hmmm maybe a Spideman 3 game will come out for the $600 behemoth.

So holy shit Eva Mendes' tits. Some bad dialog and lack luster fight scenes were made up by the fact Eva Mendes' tits were hanging out the whole movie. I must also say her ass was thoroughly more entertaining than most of the plot.

But anyways, a few scare tactic scenes were annoying but it was an alright movie overall.

Basic summary I've come up with: It's not worth it. The movie was good for about 20 minutes or so...as it went on in the beginning, it looked like it was going to turn out pretty well; they were taking it slow, developing characters and plot...but it got ugly fast. Only the first 1/3rd of it is really worth watching at all. Eva was fun to stare at during most of the other crap. Basically, it moved way too fast...the fight scenes were incredibly disappointing and seemed to exist only to show off the talents of the special effects team (I'd call it a saving grace, but that'd be giving it too much credit), and the characters and plot went sorely undeveloped. Fortunately it didn't drag on too much; at least it went on quickly enough. I give it a 37% overall.
