damnit I looked forward to this for weeks and then went to some stupid rehearsal instead, and then the vcr I programmed to tape it didn't record it. so now I have to wait for it to turn up online and download it, unless there's an encore

The whole thing felt like a made-for-TV movie. It felt like a completely different show. Why did they show the credits for the main doctors if they don't even show up at all (save Wilson)?

A completely different sequence was put together just for this episode. It threw me off especially since they changed House's appearance.

I was at work so I DVR'd it (get rid of that VCR Becky) and just finished watching it. Great stuff though I totally saw the mute girl getting her voice back by the end of the episode coming from a mile away.

The preview for the upcoming season that played during the credits at the end has me quite intrigued. Thirteen getting fired? House not getting his medical license back for a while? House quitting again? Taub quitting? Is it time to hire a new staff already...?

I think it was because this was the first season where House was somewhere other than his own hospital for the entire premiere. I think they may go back to the standard theme for the next episode. And yeah, the old intro is completely outdated. Those characters are all still there, but some of them not nearly as much.

We just finished Season 5 last month during its TV premiere run. I'll probably just wait for them to air Season 6 sometime next year.

For now, I'm watching their re-run of Season 4 again (which was Dr. House was hiring new members for his medical team).

I wonder how things will turn out between the relationship of Dr. Foreman and 13.

Yeah I saw that when I was setting up the DVR to record it. I'm betting it has something to do with House's medical license.

Anyways, all I can say is that I hope it will be as good as the previous seasons (and I believe that it will).

I just hope they don't do any stupid things like how they just killed Cutner in season 5. No offense intended (and I know Kal Penn had to leave the show for a good cause) but seriously, to pull off something like that is IMHO just not right (suicide for no apparent reason).

Other than that, well, I just hope to see this sometime next year (when they air this on local TV hehe

)

Epic Fail wasn't bad, next episode just screams Season 3 throwback to me. The opening credits make sense again!

A throwback to season 3 isn't a bad thing. I'm really pumped for the next episode.

Also couldn't they have used a better title than "Epic Fail"?

Nah it's not bad at all, Season 3 had my favorite House storyline in it to date, the one with the really pissed off cop and House's arrest and all.

Ugh, it's the opposite to me. That police dude was a total asshole, and I really liked to hear the judge calling him (not literally) a moron.

Damn, House S6 won't be premiered here until... who knows :/

I liked it mostly because it showed just how deep House's coworkers/friend really cared about him and their desire to keep him out of jail.

Yes, I hated the cop, but I loved the storyline.
