Paranormal Activity (2007 cut) - 8/10. pretty solid movie with cool effects for as low of budget as it was. Gonna watch the theatrical cut to see how much different it is (I know the ending is quite a bit different).

Well assuming watching the GTO series again doesnt count, it would be--

Back to the Future Part 1+2 - 7.5/10

Great acting, I'm a fan of Micheal J. Fox and these films dont let anyone down. The storyline is getting a little clich'e after 20 years but I still enjoy all the jokes and lines everyone has in the first film. The 2nd film is pretty much needed to round things out and it's darker tone makes it enjoyable to watch with the first film (You dont OD on the humor unlike some movies--cough*Smokey and the *cough*bandit**--). It's a shame that Part 3 doesnt live up to the hype but eh, I know it was made a bit later then the rest so all the old acters/sets couldnt be used (so I'm told). Having a "meh part 3 is their fault for leaving Part two at a cliffhanger that didnt need to be there =/
I would have rated this an 9/10 at one point, but it's age is kinda working agasint it.

I watched the first half of Boondock Saints at a friends, and bought the movie yet havent seen it yet....Need to pop that sucker in.

I agree with you there as I too felt the same thing when I saw the movie. Granted, it was too bad that I felt real sleepy when I saw this film (due to lack of sleep on my part) so yup, I kinda missed a few parts of this film save for the gunshots which always woke me up through the course of the film.

Nevertheless, I hope to see this film again some time cause it is quite good (and definitely a way better crime drama film......unlike "Zodiac" which was goddam boring to the the point that most of us slept during the film itself).

This week is mostly about the 2012 film which is said to be the best disaster movie flick of 2009. Whether the claims are true or not is still to be determined..........nevertheless, if you enjoy John Cusack films, then this flick is a guaranteed hit for you.

I see.

Either way, the hype for this film is very strong. So strong in fact that we weren't able to see this film as there were hordes of people who already bought tickets for opening night here.

Yup, it's a neat and kick ass film. Interestingly, they plan to make a sequel of that.

If ever it gets the green light, then I definitely can't wait for that.

Star Trek - 9/10; thoroughly enjoyable movie but there were a few points where it seemed like they had to force the plot forward. Simon Pegg rocks also.

Hehe yup.

At first, I too didn't believe that it was gonna be this fantastic. I mean, the moment I saw the trailer, I already knew that it was gonna be at least satisfying at the very least (given that I enjoy Star Trek ever since Patrick Stewart in the TV series, movies, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise and others). I never really knew that the film was gonna be this fantastic and boy, I and many others were indeed blown away.

Indeed, I'm definitely gonna get myself a Blu-ray DVD version of this film soon

The Blind Side (Saw it early from Gofobo.com haha I sound like a spam bot.) - 8.5/10

Pretty good and funny, had some predictable moments considering what it was about. If you get the chance to see it do so.

I'm gonna watch 2012 this weekend followed by "new moon" the following week (just for the heck of it as I don't expect anything fantastic in these films anyways).

But boy, I do wanna see Zombieland for sure .
