See it for Robert Downy Jr's acting, but the plot's kinda weak and Jamie Foxx's acting leaves room for improvement. Awesome music if you're into classical.

This was about 4-5 hours of dialogue packed into 1.5 hours. And it was still completely comprehendable (despite the tendency to have several people in separate telephone conversations in the same room, talking in between each other) and rather witty.
Although honestly I am still trying to catch up with it mentally, haha. | |

It's a cool animation film and it features an all-star cast (with the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Stephen Colbert, Kiefer Sutherland and the like in the mix). Good plot and neat audio and visuals (this is the first film to use InTru3D technology developed by a partnership with Intel and Dreamworks Animation).
Anyways I planned to give it a 7/10.............but since I saw the IMAX 3D version (which had cleaner visuals and awesome 3D content), I'd give it an 8/10 instead

There are very few movies that are not musicals that I watch once, and immediately want to watch again. This is one of them.
Still sitting in the theater for showing 2. (:

-.1 because the plot makes absolutely no sense at times. why do they need to drill a hole into the center of the planet before launching the red matter? It's kind of, like, a fucking black hole. It'll do it's job wherever they put it.
Everything else was insanely epic though.

8/10
book was better and I felt a lot of the changes took away from the story, but at the same time seeing the art and the scenery was a lot of fun

The plot is pretty horribly developed, but come on.
Star Wars.

Anyways:
I just saw 12 rounds again (that John Cena film) and I give it an 8.5/10. Also worth noting is the villain there named Miles Jackson (played by Irish actor Aiden Gillen) who is simply one villain that I'd really like to punch in the face. I mean, with the way the villain is portrayed, you'd really feel hating the villain to the point that you'd wish you'd really be there to beat his ass up to a pulp.

the priest at cern was neither branded nor vittoria's father. also the antimatter was produced by the large hadron collider
the assassin isn't middle eastern and I don't think they really gave him any motive beyond money
kohler doesn't exist
the camarlengo went up in the chopper alone, was seen parachuting down, and no blood relation to the pope was mentioned. he also never "goes crazy" and I can't remember if he lead them to the antimatter or not. he must have because assuming someone else would figure it out before midnight could very easily have blown up in his face
the whole media thing is dropped, and the "miraculous" nature of everything that happened is downplayed as well
the cardinal who drowned lived and became the pope
vittoria and robert never get together
the fifth brand is some keys instead of the illuminati diamond. at the end they give langdon the gilileo book instead | also the explosion was overdone
