I've heard some speedcore tracks which really are nonsensical and bad though, but the same goes for everything else.
I agree with you on the point "Good production is good production", mastering for a speedcore track seems like it would be a huge bitch o_O

DM Ashura may not be phenomenal at mastering his music, but he does make music that I can listen to while I'm working without it distracting me. m1dy? Not so much.

Non the less, his mastering isn't the only issue I have with his music, and it really doesn't take much to make anything into background music haha
Let me make myself clear though: I don't like m1dy or speedcore, but I'm willing to give credit to the production skills it takes to control that many things going on at the same time.

About speedcore in general... m1dy isn't really the "worst evvah". I've heard german speedcore/terror productions where you cant hear a single thing, with some crazy ass bass @ 900 BPM or more that blows your speakers . Some of m1dys tracks are melodic compared to that.

but seriously of most speedcore artist, I find m1dy most enjoyable and listenable. The first time I heard "Cold Pizza" I was blown away, because it was amazing, but speedcore isn't something I can listen to continously, maybe like 2 or 3 songs than I have to stop.
Again, its an acquired taste, like Gabba.
