MTH is really fucking good. They're an alternative band with hardcore, metal and punk influences. They aren't visual kei and they toured in America with Dropkick Murphys once.
I heard them first in GFDM, their song ROLLING100tOON was in there. ROLLING is also the opening for Airmaster if I'm correct.
The best part about the entire band though is that drummer. She's female, which is rare, and she also sings in many of the songs. She's really good at both too.
If you like this, there's not a lot I've heard yet that's exactly like them in Japan, but I'd suggest Imitation Pops Uchuu Sentai NOIZ. While they are FAR more eclectic than MTH, incorporating elements of VKei, Techno, Hip-Hop, and even Eurobeat into their music (I hear some very Rage Against the Machine influences in there), their sound is upbeat, hard and energetic without being dark or heavy, very much like MAXIMUM THE HORMONE accomplishes.
