Default Melt Banana

It's a band. It's a noisecore band. It's a japanese() noisecore band. It's a fantastic Japanese noisecore band.

I love them. Although not as popular in Japan as they are in the United States, they have a fairly good fanbase, and they have tons of songs.

I've had a friend burn me a CD of just some random songs of theirs and loved them, but I wanted more. I went to iTunes, typed in Melt Banana, and bought the album Cell-Scape. This is without any prior listening to any of their songs.

I listened to the entire album.

Twice.

Fucking fantastic! Anyone else heard of them? Like them? Hate them?

I'm glad that someone here likes them. All of my friends seem to care less about them.

Others just never heard of them. This isn't a surprise with you Ribos.

What's noisecore exactly? Hardcore and noisy music? I've never heard of this band personally.

That's what I hear, and I recently found out one of my friends loves them too. (I've known this guy for 3 years and I just found this out)

He said they're amazing live. Next time they come down to LA, I'm getting tickets.

I went to iTunes and found an album from Sun 0))) & Boris. Sounds like Michael Andrews at first, but I really want the album.

I might have to buy it.

I wouldn't think of them anywhere NEAR boris, but they're pretty good. I haven't heard much from them, I admit.

I'm glad someone on here likes noise. It means I can recommend to you Ruins!

Ruins is a percussion and bass duo from Japan who strays as much or even more into the avant-garde than Melt Banana or Boris does. PM me if you'd like a taste.
