fanboy comic book rant: Sandman doesn't kill Uncle Ben in the comics. He's a thug with powers, but Raimi's favoritism towards the character has the movie adding more "depth" to the guy. I'm guessing he's gonna be the major bad guy a la Ock and Goblin, as opposed to a bit villain with ultracool powers. Less spotlight on Venom and Harry.
I guess too much Sandman and not enough Black costume...there is always the next trailer....
