uh well from what i remember reading i liked it as a manga and sometimes those things have to remain a manga
and if he didn't enjoy making a the anime then i think he should have the decision to not make another one, and secondly i dont think the fans should force him to make one, look at what happened with dbz, and more recently with metal gear solid 5 | |

I can't say I'm disappointed. I love the manga, but I've never been excited about the prospect of a Yotsuba anime.

I liked the anime adaption of Azumanga Daioh (I bought the Omnibus. I wished they changed the translation note pages that were in vol. 3 & 4. An example: the note referring to page 32 of vol. 4 actually refers to page 524), but perhaps he feels that Yotsuba just wouldn't turn out good. I still need to read the series (I read the 1st volume about 2 years ago).
I think they should produce 1 "test" episode just to see if it would work out & if the fans like it or not.

Yotsuba is really fast paced and quite short with random storylines so it's quirkiness and humour wouldnt translate too well into lets say 24, 20 minute episodes of anime so im happy its sticking to it's manga format. Could you really stand watching 20 minutes of "Yotsuba and Cicada Hunting"? | |

What Azumanga Daioh did was have about 3 or 4 different "stories" for each episode, sometime connecting to each other.
Well, it's not like EVERY manga has to have an anime adaption. | |
