Default October's Coming; Horror Movies Abound!

october's my favorite month. change of season, Halloween, plus it just sounds cool: OCT-OB-ER. yeah.

plus a slew of scary movies. Grudge 2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre. SAW III. probably others, just not being hyped right now.

any ones on your list? I have a feeling my GF is gonna drag me to SAW3. i loved the first one but hated the 2nd, lets hope the trilogy ends on a good note (well, at least i hope its a trilogy:how many more sequels can you squeeze off that flimsy premise?)

I bet Saw III will be the only decent film out of those three. Are there other horror films coming out in October?

Yeah, Saw III looks to be the winner in my book. Chainsaw is going to be a guilty pleasure movie so I have to see that and the Grudge 2 just looks stupid. Saw III better be better than Saw II though it will be difficult to top the "acting" of the one muscle guy (Xavier?) in Saw II.

Not sure about the horror lineup on the DVD front. The last great horror movie on DVD I saw was "Pray" and that was in June.

I'll definetly be watching The Grudge 2. Saw 3 would be fun to watch... What other horror movies are there? Wait...is that all the horror movies?

I like the premise for Saw 3 and personally I think it makes for the best way to end the series. As for TCM, unless they have Tobe Hooper involved directly I am not checking it out.

I don't remember the last time is i was truly scared watching a movie. maybe Saw, but that was more "disturbed" than "scared"

There hasn't been a good horror movie released in ages. Saw is a suspense/thriller, not horror.

Actually I take that back, The Descent was pretty scary, but if you want quality horror, you've gotta go back at least 10 years.

Descent wasn't horror ( i never watched it so i don't know)? What constitutes a horror movie, blood and gore or content and character?

worst wannabe supsense/thriller/sci fi/garbage this year: the one with the wifi ghosts, i already forgot the title, it's so lame...recent release, girl from Veronica Mars...

The Descent is the only good modern English-language horror film.

Pulse is the worst horror film this year as well as one of the worst movies this year. It was a waste of money and effort. Kairo, the Japanese version, is a good movie. Watch that instead. The plot is even different.

im looking forward to saw III considering how much i loved the first one. TCM ive been wating for since summer when i saw one of the trailors online. and i didnt even watch all of the first grudge do to how irritatingly stupid it was. Not to get off topic but Black Snake Moan is going to be the best movie this year.

I dare you to watch Heroes and then Final Destination 2.

Make sure to focus on Ali Larter.
