Old Meowth VA passes on

This probably isn't going to get in there with the lot of you but for those who have watched the old Pokemon shows with the true VAs, it's with sadness to report that Madeleine Blaustein, the VA for Meowth, has died in her sleep last week after not feeling well.

She was in the whole act from Episode 32 till 421 and the first 8 movies.

Maddie was 48 years old.

It was a WOMAN? Wow. She did a good job. I hate her replacement. I remember when I was about 9-ish when Pokemon came out & I had to get the tapes since we didn't get it on TV.

Yeah, I thought the VA was a guy too. That's pretty sad though. Good thing I stopped watching long before they had the new VAs.

I still remember that this was one of the few animes that I grew up with as a kid. Shame as she was the highlight that what made Meowth extraordinary.

Anyways condolences indeed to her friends and family. She will be missed.
