Default penn & teller bullshit

seen it? do you like it?

it's interesting & makes you think about subjects, but they show their biases pretty obviously in each episode, which makes the viewer's job to judge fairly a little more difficult. sometimes they submit to full-out personal attacks on the people, which make the show funny, but don't really add to the search for answers. i also completely disagree with their "free speech" episode (which, is a coincidence considering where i'm posting this). but, nonetheless, even then it's still viewable for the comedic aspect

I'm a fan of the series. I'll also be one of the first to admit, though, that it's not a series you view for a moderate viewpoint: it's pure entertainment, not a documentary show. To be honest, would it be as much fun WITHOUT the snarky commentary, however?

I like the show. I guess if you like it, you love it and if you hate it, you won't ever be converted. The only decent episode coming to my mind right now is the one on profanity. I got a kick out of that one.

Also, if anyone has seen their stage show (I finally got to Vegas in May to do this), it is kind of like their TV show. Oh it's very entertaining with tricks and stunts and stuff but they also have their own running commentary going that really adds to their delivery. Cool stuff.

I love this series, very funny and while it does features the opinions of Penn and Teller, they make alot of good points. Two of my personal favorite bits was their idea for what should be built at Ground Zero of the WTC and when they had customers at a resturant try out various bottled water brands and revealed that it was all tap water from a garden hose.

Awhile back I had Showtime so I got a chance to watch it. I remember the tap water episode, also the one about consiparcy theories.

They DO bring up some good points, but it does have a bit of a biased taste to it. If I see it at Blockbuster I'll probally go watch it again.

The Conspiracy Theories episode was another great one to watch, albeit it is difficult for me to watch cause of that asshole (and that's exactly what Penn calls him) who said 9/11 never happened and nobody actually died. (I dare him to tell that to some of the New York reservists who were in my unit while I was in Iraq.) I will say though that they did make an error on how to aim in properly on when they showed it was possible to fire off 3 shots in under 5.6 seconds with the bolt action rifle that Oswald supposedly used.

I've seen a lot of theres. I don't agree with everything they try to prove "bullshit" but I love the show. I find myself laughing a lot in each episode. I loved the curse words one. The natural food one, and uhh...many others.

I was shocked as to how many people, on earth day, signed to ban dihydrogen monoxide

it deals with interesting subjects sometimes, but the hosts are massive failures. it tries really hard to be OMG IN YOUR FACE TELL IT LIKE it IS "FUCK" as seen by the title. discovery channel ftw.

I'm actually halfway tempted to start that type of petition in this area to see how many college students I can trick.

Honestly, you'll get a good amount. It's depressing.
