Default Resident Evil: Extinction

For those of you like myself that loved the original and thought the sequel was horribly flawed(meaning let's adapt the game and butcher it as opposed to being original like the first), Extinction delivers.

Just shows that originality was the way to go.

Also, Claire and Wesker.

Especially Wesker.

AND A TYRANT.

So good.

I just find myself wondering how they're going to squeeze a fourth out of this. An army of Alices against Umbrella sounds cool, but a whole movie based around it? Eh...

If they make a fourth, it better be about Leon, ganados, and ballistics.

Question:
Does Wesker say "I am going to show you the Tyrant"? That line makes me cream my jeans.

I cannot wait to fucking see this movie, I'm goin' in just a bit, actually. It's good? Anything with Wesker is already fantastic.

But yeah, the next Resi movie should have Kennedy in it, he's been waiting patiently.

Regrettably, Wesker operated behind-the-scenes, but if you think about it, that's pure Wesker right there.

The Tyrant results from a mutation like the first movie's final battle. Which made me so happy.

Also, new homicidal computer hologram. Can't go wrong with that.

Does the Tyrant "kill" Wesker like in the games? That could be where the movies are goin', carry after the games, like they should have from the beginning.

Is Wesker portrayed well, like, how he is in the games? I so can't wait to see JUST him. Tell me he has a fair amount of screen time.

Wesker appears in Umbrella meetings as a hologram. He's a 'chairman'. And no, he's very alive at the end, which is how I want it. They're setting him up as the mastermind, and I approve.

He's portrayed almost perfectly.

He's not as 'ultra powerful' as he is in the games, but he's got that sarcastic 'I'm in control and you're not' personality down.

He appears enough.

the entire movie was nothing but a build up for a turbo raped tyrant. seriously, tentical fingers? just have him smash walls with his claws. then they fucking kill him off in like 2 minutes. and for fucks sake, can atleast ONE FUCKING MOVIE have telekenis as "imma lift you up n smash yer back" rahter than "oopsie, i just lifted a rock with mind bullets. i'm gonna faint now, but don't worry, i'l uncontrollably set of shockwaves later and still do fucking backflips"

the stunts were pretty good, the makeup was excellent, the driving was abysmal why the fuck couldn't the truck make that turn going into the farmhouse? if it REALLY turns that wide, then widen the fucking road. you built it. and the plot sucked monkey balls.

if you can't find your lighter to set 8 bucks on fire, then i suggest seeing this movie. that or if you hate resident evil and love seeing a good rape.
