So the question(s) are:
* Was I the only one who watched this, and
* Am I the only one, if the answer to that first question is "no", who enjoyed it?

Why isn't there a "That's My Clinton" or "That's My Kennedy"?

Why isn't there a "That's My Clinton" or "That's My Kennedy"? | Because capitalism hates you.
If such DVDs would sell, then they'd make 'em. And frankly, Kennedy just wasn't that funny of a person. Kind of hurts that he was, you know, ASSASSINATED. Clinton... well, he played Saxophone for Jay Leno. That in itself is cool enough to free himself from a comedic portrayal. Although the Monica Lewinski thing had an SNL skit or two, I'm sure.

It's just that they tend to lean the way you said it: too cool to really insult, so he's instead a witty ladies man.

From what I saw of the show it was Matt and Trey blasting politics and sitcoms due to how rediculous both can become.

I meant Ted Kennedy, but then I wasn't very specific. And I never did like JFK that much either (if Bush was assassinated none of us would give a damn.)

But no matter how annoying Teddy K gets, he doesn't compare with another Ted... Ted Stephans, of net neutrality noteriety.
But Ted Kennedy just isn't that funny. You can only do so many fat jokes, and then what are you left with?

The thing to remember with TMB is it wasn't really a parody of Bush so much as a parody of the sitcom. Bush just served as a particualrly good vehicle for said parody.
