I'll buy it for the fact I have the other three. But the first was BY FAR the best. and the second was pretty good too. then it just went downhill because they weren't rated R no more. I LOVE THE WAYANS BROTHERS.

Maybe that's because everyone went to watch it figuring it would change the world and be the best movie ever.
But I do agree, SM5 needs some new humor.
And needs to make sense.
How many times has that lady died and come back in the next movie?

The only part that I even laughed at in #4 was the beginning with Shaq and Dr. Phil. And THAT wasn't even amazingly funny. | |

SM4 sucked monkey balls.
And I don't say things like that about anything too often.
...but seriously. I laughed at the Matrix Revolutions more than I did SM4. Revolutions was so bad it was funny, SM4 almost trancended bad and became one with the near-infinitely stupid.
Date Movie was better, IMO. And I didn't like that movie much either. | |

I just don't get where people get to say that a movie sucked---whatever---just because THEY didn't laugh. Or in the case of the Matrix, why did everyone think the last 2 movies sucked? What were you expecting, Smith to take over the world and create an army of himself to...what? There would be nothing left! Of course they had to bring his ass down. 
With SM4, yeah, there were some parts that were just retarded. But i'm sure everyone who saw it laughed at least once.

All of the Scary Movies have been bad. The first two were slighly less bad, because though they were just as not-funny, they at least maintained a continuity within them. The individual scenes within Scary Movie 3 and 4 are more like skits that aren't really supposed to have anything to do with each other then they are a story.
But, uhh, yeah. All of them are pretty poor films.

The main thing to understand is that the Wayans brothers have a hard time producing good movies most of the time. Was the bald one Damon? The bald one is pretty good at comedy (Major Pain). He had nothing to do with the Scary Movie series. | |
