Okay, from what I'm understanding on the recently updated Wikipedia article about this thing, the people in the pic are DJ Rick and the Slumber Party Girls. In laymans terms, it's the host and the in-house band. Quote: |
Originally Posted by Wikipedia Dance Revolution will be hosted by DJ Rick and the Slumber Party Girls. Every half-hour episode starts with music from the house band, the Slumber Party Girls. Then DJ Rick introduces the Dance Crews, that is, the teams of contestants, and the judges. The Dance Crews start to perform their own dance routines. When they are finished, choreographer Leah Lynette comes to teach the Dance Crews some new styles of dancing. Finally, the Dance Crews have a dance off. The judges declare who the winning Dance Crew is and the winners gets to move on to the next round. Although Dance Revolution was based on the video game series Dance Dance Revolution, there is nothing similar between the two except for the name. | So yeah, that last sentence is the reason why this is in GD->MD and not DDR.
This looks SO stupid, but I'll give it a very small chance. I mean, this is the first time CBS has ever actually tried to make thier Saturday Morning block even halfway interesting.
EDIT: ALSO. Someone rip the songs from here. Let's see how good these girls actally are.

At least it had Kel Mitchell.
