Thats it.
Its a new low. At least rap producers who sample constantly (Kanye West comes to mind) cut and chop their samples and add countless flair to their productions (basslines, kick/snare patterns), enough to make it their own/not get sued. This guy or his producer did absolutely nothing. He put together a puzzle of a whiteboard. |
i understand the difference
i'm just saying
it's not like we have viewed many rap artists of the past 10 years to be musical geniuses

On the one hand, using only stock samples to create a popular song is unoriginal, but for it to gain so much popularity says something about either the program or its fans. I mean, I've been using Game Maker for seven years and I've only ever used its clip art in my programs, but everyone who's played my creations claim to like it for the twenty minutes they're patient enough to put up with them.

Soulja is probably running in millions now from the publicity. Thats messed up. I'm also willing to bet that what you make runs circles in creativity around Crank Dat.
Also, you pointed a really sad fact about the music production scene. No one takes Fruity Loops seriously. First it was the name (which was changed to FL Studio), now its the idiots who get away using it.
For the record, I learned music production on Fruity Loops for Windows, and its a fantastic program full of potential. Its just theres a lot of pricks out there using it.

Surprisingly (or not) when I read the title, I tried to compare the two and was unable, but as soon as the music started in that video, I immediately mentally strung in the Daikenkai steps, fitting in ever so nicely.
Whether it's intentional or not, it still remains as an interesting note, props to whoever found it.

Daikenkai was on Pop'n Music 6. May 2001.
Somebody needs to do some more research.

I think Snoop Dogg's Dreamland is better than this though, albeit not as funny. Quote:

How the shit did he save his music? | It is possible that he used a different recorder, because I remembered that the demo version doesn't allow you to save.
