I thought it was great, the fact that when he talked about the Sword of a Thousand Truths and the buffs and stuff it gave and I knew exactly what he was talking about made me revel in my nerdery.
I call that being an epic drop off a raid boss in BC.
I got a kick out of it and I've never played any MMORPG. I have lived with a few roommates over the years and two of them were into that stuff so I understood a lot of what was going on. That's a testament to their writing when someone who never played the game of the subject can still enjoy the episode. Great opening to the next round of episodes.

The episode was great as I have alot of friends into the game so I relate to it quite a bit. What really caught me off guard though was that the episode started in the actual game. Hell, I didn't even realize it was the episode until I heard Cartman and saw them lined up, albeit as WoW characters.

i've never played any mmporgs but i was thoroughly engrossed and fascinated by this emmy worthy episode...its not like south park episodes haven't been nominated before...
I did not think that cartman could be any fatter, excluding that early episode where he drank protein shakes or something.
But holy shit, septuple chin.
Honestly, I have seen some Marines who got addicted to the game then shipped out to Iraq. Watching the withdraw they went through was some of the funniest shit ever for me.
