Oh god another one of my least favorite shows is being made into a movie D:
Now that the Matrix people are manning it, I bet there's going to be some sort of an ambiguous plot that will be divided into 3 parts that get progressivly worse in succession.
Or it'll be totally badass like V for Vendetta which is fine

So they are going to do matrix effects around Speed Gear Shifting and Pushing down the peddle? Those are the two most regularily used recycled animations bits in the whole series from what I remembered. Hell, I just realized that Sprittle and Chim Chim might now end up on the big screen which is VERY frightening to me!
They might...or they might just have in one scene as a joke.. what i would like to see is the movie starts with the original cartoon, and then have the camera zoom out to the actually people watching it and laughing at how it was so poorly dubbed.

True, given how those who are helming this film work, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that did happen.
meh, i was never a fan of the anime (well, okay, having never watched it, i'm not much of an expert) but i hope this succeeds so Anime can get some nice Hollywood exposure...
