Why was he #1 is what I'm wondering. Sure, he's funny, but not even half as funny as Lewis Black, Pablo Fransisco, Jim Gaffigan, or Demitri Martin.

Jim Gaffigan isn't very funny. Neither is Frank Caliendo(MadTV sucks now). Carlos Mencia is CRAP. I haven't seen Dane Cook yet, but judging from your reactions to him, I don't think I ever will.

Did people actually vote for them or is this Comedy Central's choices?

Jim Gaffigan is terrible, I agree.

Dane Cook deserves more than a flogging if you ask me. And to put him at #1? And the fact that Carlos Mencia and Mitch Hedburg even made it? I've lost faith in that network!

i dunno why mitch is on there though, mostly because he's dead not because he isn't amazing.. because he was amazing.
