Yes. I eagerly await the day that hydrogen cars are an everyday staple.

Haha, and against a C6 Corvette (inside a shopping mall). Then there was the other one where they took it to a beach (good thing water didn't seep through the cabin)..

Indeed it was epic

Right now the only thing stopping Hydrogen cars from being an everyday staple is that the transportation and delivery of compressed hydrogen safely and efficiently hasn't been tackled yet.

The person that gets that down to a science that makes it as easy as gas tankers going around, putting hoses in places and pushing buttons, will become a multimillionaire easily.

Ditto.

There have been lots of testing done by BMW on the their hydrogen-powered 7 series test vehicle (for more than 10 years if I remember). Perhaps, we'll see what happens when they make improvements when they apply it to the new-generation model (codenamed "F01 & F02")

Yeah, and when you have cars like the Tesla which can (reportedly) go a couple hundred miles on a charge, it almost seems pointless. But I wonder... maybe hydrogen and electric will become how diesel and regular gas/petrol are now (except less noisy). Coexisting, but both having their ups and downs.

I've read that from various sources as well. And when Kimcicle said multimillionaire, he actually meant multibillionaire. It will be that big of a business when that mess gets sorted out.

Nahhh yo people are mad stupid and they need to go through the motions of filling up their cars with badass things such as PETROL and HYDROGEN.

You know all those 'Vette drivers aren't going to start pluggin' cars into walls, their penises are too fuckin' huge for that shit.

No, they will keep them as weekend cars. It's not like petrol is just going to disappear.

Artificial petrol can be made in labs, it's just the process of doing so is ungodly expensive compared to the existing infrastructure we enjoy currently.

The man that patents the way to make compressed hydrogen easily transportable at a decent cost will hold the keys to the kingdom really.

Anyways, I am looking forward to the new season of this (airs on BBC World for us) and even if I'm not a hardcore fan of the show, it still is a motoring review show that is entertaining to the core in my book

@slightly off-topic
Anyways, I just saw one of the old episodes of Fifth Gear (season 9) where they were comparing different car audio systems (Audi A8 - Bang and Olufsen; Volvo C70 - Dynaudio; MB S-Class - Harman Kardon Logic 7)

Personally, I think I agree with B&O being the winner (since it had a solid sound system with strong bass, vibrant mid-range and a DSP that works as advertised).

Still, my standards for car audio systems are very lenient (even a basic 6-speaker sound system works for me)

Just my two cents
