I heard several places are selling HD-DVDs for $1 so just get everything you can.

The screen wills spin and battle music will start to play. You and drunk friends will be forced to stand in a line rocking back and forth holding over sized swords. A group of retarded looking monsters will appear and you will take turns hitting each other. When it is all over you will get 648 Gil and a fire ring. Why the 12 foot tall monster with no hands had a fire ring that fits everyone from you to your grandma will still be mystery to man.

So with only like two studios.........or rather one big studio left (Paramount/Dreamworks), HD-DVD can already cease to exist. Nielsen Videoscan posted figures of 81:19 favoring Blu-ray (ending Feb 5) which means that this annoucement from Universal would put that figure to more like 90:10 or better within this year.
Eventually, no one would dare support HD-DVD anymore. Heck, by the time Paramount/Dreamworks ends their 18-month contract with HD-DVD working group, they WILL make the switch to Blu-ray.
It's only a matter of time

Betamax - Fail!
Minidisc - Fail!
UMD - ... ... ... ...Fail!
Blu-Ray - Win?

Come on, Sony needs it after all those years of failure.

Either that means it was selling that well, or PSP games weren't selling shit | |

I own about 3 games, none of which I've bought myself, they were presents. Need for Speed Carbon : Own the City was total dump in comparison to the XBox 360 version.

Either that means it was selling that well, or PSP games weren't selling shit | Its likely to be a combination of the two. The movies might be doing better now that the PSP Slim can put them on a TV, and seriously, I only have 5 PSP games, In contrast, I have like 10 Wii games, 25 DS games, 40 PS2 games, 4 Gamecube games, 24 Gameboy Advance Games, 34 Xbox games and 7 Xbox 360 games. You're seeing the trend by now.
