omg true blood. D: this week's episode was particularly exciting, and as always, I can't wait for next sunday! anybody else here a true blood fan?
Season 2 is gonna be shown in our region next month (on Cinemax Asia). However, I was able to get a glimpse of episode six of season one. Quite good.

Lolz and the funny part was that the vampire's teeth immediately sprung out in no time and with a sound to boot (like it was activated hehe). Maybe a product like this could come out in the future (i.e. pushbutton-activated vampire fangs )
I remember watching the first episode when it premiered. Didn't really strike me as something I would go out of my way to watch, but I've caught all the episodes as they re-ran. It's a pretty interesting story and it does a good job of drawing a lot of parallels to real world issues. It's just...there's so much damn sex interrupting the plot points. I know that's one of the main themes of the show but some episodes would make Heidi Fleiss blush. I was a big fan of Rome and I thought that was over the top, but this is some wild shit, and from what I understand HBO is actually pressuring the producers to throw in even more sex. Now I'm not a Mormon or anything so it's not like I'm offended, but damn when I wanna watch people fucking I'll put some porn on. I guess in a nutshell I want to like the show, and the concepts interest me, but every time I watch it, in the back of the mind it feels like HBO is making money pandering to me. I'm a weirdo go figure.
I've yet to see an episode, is it something that would keep me entertained during the House off season?
perhaps, since I do love me some House too, but you'd have to at least watch all the previous eps from this season because it's not particularly episodic right now...every episode ends with a cliffhanger that picks up directly in the next one. I guess now that there are people posting in this thread that haven't seen any of the second season, I shouldn't spoil anything :3 but it's really exciting, because there are 4 or 5 different story threads going on at the same time independently, and lots of secrets kept from characters.
